Securing the Border
The US border is critical for national security, with a focus on preventing illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and infiltration by criminal or terrorist elements. Emphasis needs to be placed on robust border security measures to protect American citizens and communities. We must provide our law enforcement teams with necessary support, including resources, technology, and authority, to enforce immigration laws, apprehend violators, and prevent illegal activities at the border.
Jobs & Economy
Scott has had a successful career working for a family business, understanding the hard work and grit required to operate one. Having also worked with federal agencies, he grasps the challenges and expenses associated with regulatory requirements and is committed to eliminating bureaucratic and nonsensical roadblocks that hinder business operations. Scott opposes federal and statewide mandates that adversely impact small businesses and is dedicated to working on tax reform policies, both in Washington and Central New Jersey. He pledges not only to advocate for small businesses but also to be a voice of the people, by the people.
Energy
Scott is extremely passionate about energy and understands its role as a critical resource. Electricity needs to be thought through both strategically and regionally- considering impacts to the environment, accessibility and affordability. Oil, Gas, Propane, and even Coal will play a significant role in the immediate future as we transition into greener energy. Nuclear energy should be further utilized as clean, reliable, and cost-effective.
In our NJ congressional 6th District, we are likely to see hundreds of Wind Turbines installed just off our coast. Through federal subsidies these energy projects will cost taxpayers billions throughout their lifecycle, endangering marine wildlife while achieving very little in our rush to decarbonize haphazardly.
Israel
Supporting Israel is crucial as it embodies democracy and stability in the Middle East, championing human rights and innovation. Our alliance bolsters regional and global security, and the landmark Abraham Accords exemplify the potential for peace and cooperation, fostering diplomatic and economic ties between Israel and several Arab nations. These accords signify a historic shift towards regional harmony and demonstrate that peaceful coexistence and mutual respect are attainable goals. By standing with Israel, we not only endorse shared democratic values but also contribute to a future where diplomacy triumphs over conflict, benefiting global stability and prosperity.
Term Limits
Scott is committed to crafting legislation on term limits and look to provide change to the establishment. Term Limits in Congress and Senate offer a critical safeguard against the potential pitfalls of prolonged political tenure. By curtailing the length of time individuals can hold office, we mitigate the risks of complacency, corruption, and detachment from constituents. This fosters a continuous infusion of new perspectives and ensures that elected officials remain responsive to the evolving needs and desires of the electorate. Term limits, therefore, serve as a vital mechanism for preserving accountability, promoting democratic vitality, and maintaining the integrity of our representative government.
Make America Healthy Again!
I have nearly two decades of experience in the food industry, I’ve witnessed how harmful substances like microplastics are infiltrating our food system and jeopardizing public health. My background uniquely equips me to tackle these issues and Make America Healthy Again!
From plastic pollution to the FDA allowing junk ingredients banned in other countries, it’s clear we need stronger oversight and accountability on the FDA and USDA, and combat corporate influence in the food market. I will fight for safer food standards and address the toxic pesticide use supported by recent farm bill. I will push to ensure cleaner food, safer water, and better health for all.
Investing in Infrastructure
Reliable, Safe Transportation for New Jersey Reliable infrastructure is the backbone of a thriving state, yet New Jersey’s transportation systems—especially New Jersey Transit—are in desperate need of improvement. This past summer was a “summer of hell” for NJ Transit commuters, plagued by delays, breakdowns, and service disruptions that affected countless New Jersey residents. These failures underscore a broader lack of investment and accountability that we can no longer afford to accept. I am committed to revitalizing our transportation infrastructure with a focus on ensuring that every dollar spent is used wisely. We must demand transparency and accountability in how funds are allocated and utilized. This means investing in modern technology and establishing rigorous oversight for NJ Transit, so that resources are directed towards real, impactful change rather than ineffective projects. Our goal should be to create a transit system that is not only reliable and safe but also serves the needs of its riders efficiently. Additionally, we must prioritize the maintenance and expansion of our roads and bridges to alleviate congestion and improve safety for everyone. By championing smart investments and holding decision-makers accountable, we can transform New Jersey’s transportation network into one that meets the needs of our residents and fosters economic growth for years to come. Together, we can ensure that our infrastructure supports a brighter future for New Jersey.
